Here are some pix of the students who have been helping me get the house together, while learning (or supposed to be) English. They have been fantastic, and I think have had a good time too!

Just to prove they did do some study!

Painting the attic room

My library after they assembled the bookcases

Kitchen lunch

Assembling furniture

Taking the horses home to change riders

Zerin sharpening his scythe

Nedim takes Napoleon for a walk (or the other way round)

What country (ies) were your students from (if not France)?

And don't forget to change your location!

All nine students were from Sarajevo - they are ones I have been teaching for two years. They said today in class that they had had a great time, and learnt a lot, not all of it in English class! Many of them rode a horse for hte first time, wentr canoeing and also learnt things like how to use an electric drill and sander. All useful life skills! Thew all leave tomorrow morning, giving me 24 hours to wash sheets etc before my daughter plus BF and my brother arrive.
