Kitty is now in that stage where she is trying to move the babies. this time she was chosen my freezing cold basement. i thought she liked where she was because she is in a cage in an isolated corner of my room and there are pleanty of blankets over her cage so it is nice and warm and the only time i look at them is just to make sure they are all ther and to make sure they are all eating and ok.

All the closets in my house get up to 100 plus degrees during this time of year and all the bathrooms in the house are really small. so there really is no other choice than my room. is there any way i can get her to just get used to my room? after she tried to carry 3 babies off i locked her in my room with her litter box and food. and she is not happy about it. i have to go to practice now so any tips would be great.

Sorry your girls are not wanting to stay put, I guess I should consider myself lucky that Missy is content to stay in the bathroom. Even when the door is wide open she doesn't try to leave

while i was gone at practice she got out of my room but the babies are still in there so that's good. i am going to try to fix it up and make it look like she is insde of a hole in a cave or something to see if she likes that better. she is fine now and she seemed content but i guess not...

Keep her locked up so she doesnt move them somewhere unsafe. I know she will cry and not like it, but as long as she is somewhere safe where she cant move the kits and all the amenities are there for her, let her whine, she will be okay

she tried to move them again this morning so i have her locked up in my room. she keeps trying to move them under my moms bed today. she is really mad at me right now... she'll probably poop on my pillow for revenge later.

lol missy moves her babies too given the chance. she hates being locked in the bedroom we let her out several times a day but she enjoys the company of humans.

yeah that is how Kitty is. when we have company over she stresses out and moves the babies so i just lock her in my room for an hour or 2 and she is fine now.

Furball has been attempting to move her babies. At first she moved them behind the loveseat in my livingrom. I was okay with that. I just moved the loveseat ahead a lottle and slid her nestbox in behind. Then she moved them to the front hall closet in amongst our shoes and boots. I was not okay with that so I put the kittens back into the nestbox as she protested loudly (LOL!!) and closed the closet doors and I am making sure the doors remain closed at all times.
This confused Furball a little and after attempting to move the kittens back into the closet she found out the hard way she HAD to return them to behind the loveseat. This has seemed to work so far and she is behind the loveseat now with the kittens.

I'm waiting for round two. LOL!!
