Hi, I am going to order 4 litterboxes from petfooddirect tonight when I get home from work. I was just wondering which ones I should choose from the site that would work best for my 4 cats? They tend to pee at the very bottom of the boxes, so it would be nice if the bottom had a slippery surface. I currently have 2 jumbo and 2 large litter boxes. Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm afraid I can't be of much help, I gave up on the traditional litter boxes for my bunch. I got a large rubbermaid container from Walmart with a lid, and cut a hole in the lid and they use that. Mine tend to like to pee way at the bottom too, and this was the only way I can keep the litter in the box. Plus it cost me $11.

Good luck choosing

Thats not a bad idea to use a large rubbermaid container, I might just do that. It would be cheaper that way too. Thank you for the help.

I've heard the suggestion here of spraying pam on the bottom of the box before you refill the box.. I tried it myself a few times.. I personally like the tidy cats boxes, I own 2 of those, one petmate covered box, a booda dome, and a plain ol' van ness box. My kitties have choces.. Though it could be the location of the boxes, they seem to prefer the tidy cats box first, the petmate, the traditional box, and then the booda dome.

Pam works, and then i also put a layer of baking soda down (really works well to neutralize the odours and keep things from sticking)
