Stoli sometimes gets a tiny piece of hair or eye junk on top of his eye. it doesn't seem to bother him but I want to get it out so bad. i know when i have somehting on my eye it irritates the heck out of me. is this the same with cats? is there something i can do? why does this happen?

are you talking about the sleepy stuff everyone has in their eyes in the morning after waking up? i just get it out for them or let it come out by itself.

or something else? same thing )

Usually it will just come off as the cat blinks. you would know if it bothered your cat. He would be blinking and rubbing his eye and it may water a bit. If none of these things are happening then I wouldn't worry too much. Normally I would suggest using a warm wet washcloth to wipe it off but since it is on the eyeball itself you run the risk of scratching or damaging the eye.

I know exectly what you mean though. My cats get it sometimes. It goes away on its own.
