i calculated it all out and it seems innova evo is only slightly more money than the natural balance i feed right now, so i decided to make the switch.

i will be doing a 1 month transition to use the rest of the natural balance.

i hear cats need to get extra water while on evo so i hope they get enough. unfortunantly they wont eat canned.
i do change the water twice or more daily.

btw, my kittens are 18wks of age.

anyone have experience with switching to innova evo. any advice?

thanks

the month switch over sounds good.. be prepared only 50 % of cats or kittens can tolerate the richness ... It is a great food

When we switched Ping over to Evo I just mixed what was left of the old food in with the new food and he has been fine.

Just keep an eye on the poop- I tried twice to transition my guys over to EVO and they got diarrhea both times.

Mine were fine and actually started to pick the old food out of their bowl and just eat the evo, but as people have mentioned, take it slowly, and watch their water intake and poops

Mine did just fine on the Evo, though it was too expensive for my taste, and I switched them onto RAW shortly after.

You may benefit from a water fountain instead of just changing the water in a bowl for better fluid consumption.

Cheers!
