Our cat, Blu, escaped thru an open window this evening. She was declawed in the front when we got her, so we NEVER let her outside. It was already dark, but we managed to track her down and "capture" her in a wooded area near our home. Needless to say, this was a rather tramatic experience for everyone involved.
I noticed after we had her safely back inside that she had some discharge around her bottom that looks like it's from her anal glands. Is it normal for this to happen simply from being scared?
She has had some problems with scooting on the floor, and the vet has expressed her glands several times, but I have never noticed them emptying by themselves.
