I do cat rescue and had taken 3 kittens to my Vet to be checked before ever coming to my house. One had pneumonia, second had upper respiratory and the 3rd upper respiratory and ring worm. Keep in mind NONE ever were touched by myself nor in my home! Needless to say...the one with upper respiratory recovered and came to my house. The pneumonia kitten recovered and was adopted by an older woman. The ringworm kitten remained at the Vet's office being treated. Both of us were back in the Vet's office approximately 1 1/2 weeks later with ringworm on both of the kittens. It was obvious....both contracted this while at the Vet's facility. Problem is that I have approximately 25 foster kittens looking for homes..NOT GOOD! I have now had 6 show signs of ringworm and are at the Vet. I know it's a matter of time before the remainder of the kittens plus my own adults will show sings of ringworm. Any suggestions on treating ringworm in a colony? Not only costly but also it's going to be a real problem trying to pill each one as well as put the medication on. Help!! Les
