TNR1:

So, does that mean that if there are no kits by.....say this weekend, that we are chasing a will-o-the-wisp, and perhaps something is wrong? This has been a very, very long time. I got her on July 28 and it is now October 9.

I would have thought that there would be some kind of symptoms if she was in trouble, yes?

By the way.......******sigh*****no kits. Big belly, no kits.

I truly think so (but I'm not a vet). She didn't get out while she has been with you correct??

Nope. That cat has been in my house 24/7 since I brought her home on July 28.

If she was having a problem, wouldn't there be some kind of symptoms?

Well, done some more research......none of it looks good. This is the 74th day. I REALLY am at my wit's end.

She has no symptoms of anything. She is happy, eating, doing a lot more sleeping, playing, very vocal (not heat screaming), loving, I just don't know. I guess I'm not the first one to be snookered by a cat.

I am going to hold on until Friday. I will call my vet tomorrow (I really don't have the $100 to spend especially if there is no need) and ask her opinion and possibly make an appointment for a spaying, and see what happens. I am so dead set against killing kits, but if there are no kits, then she needs a D&C like no one else I have ever seen.

I am so depressed. This hurts more than my divorce did.

I can't begin to tell you, Pami, how much I appreciate that.

She has been very, very quiet today, and when she was sleeping next to me here at the computer, I watched her belly roll, almost like one of the kits or whatever rolled over.

I may have to check myself into a psychiatric hospital after all this is said and done.

(They're coming to take me away ha, ha....they're coming to take me away)

Well, I called my vet this morning, we have an appointment on the 24th, but if any symptoms develop, she said to call right away.

I don't think we will have any symptoms.

I kept her in my room last night, and every 15 minutes she was up and down, up and down, and I thought she was uncomfortable.....yeah right. She sneaks under the covers and bites my toe.

I know it is not her fault. She is so sweet. Once an animal comes into my house, it is family and that is case with Tammy-Timmy, kits or not.

Thank you everyone for all the support and help and good wishes and good vibes for us.

Do you want this continued, does it need to be moved to another spot? I can keep you informed of Tammy march to drive me nuts if you all would like.

Oh my goodness...I leave for a few days (and couldn't wait to get back and check up on Tammy!) and all this craziness ensues. I was having quite the giggle picturing Tammy's adventures through your house. SHe sounds like an absolute darling...and I'm glad you've been able to hold onto some measure of your sense of humor during all this.

I have my fingers and toes crossed (and eyes...but not till i'm done typing!) for you guys...especially that Tammy gets off her duff and pops out some grandbabies for you!!!

Don't stop posting...or we'll all go bonkers hunting you down to find out what happened!!!

Well, I can't wait to get home tonight to see what damage she has done during the day.

It is funny seeing those little side waggle in and out as she walks down the hallway, I swear I have never seen anything like this. I think this cat needs to be put up for the Cat Joke of the Year Award.

I'm still drinking vodka and now I using tranquilizers too.

I got out of my car in the driveway and looked into the living room window. There is Tammy-Timmy, framed in lattice-work, with rose leaves around the window. A picture to die for.

Ah huh....walked into the house and someone had knocked over the food bowl and spilled the water. Pete was hiding, KittenKiya was in a box sleeping, ChanKahli was gone and Tammy-Timmy is looking at me like "What?"

She is right now cleaning the color out of Pete's fur. I gotta tell you, this cat can lick. Pete has never looked so good, I think Tammy thinks he's her baby.

I am taking a chill pill tonight, I'm gonna get some sleep if it kills me. Maybe I am wrong and Tammy will help me find a way to call the vet and cancel that appointment.

*****sigh***** wishful thinking.

Oh I hope Tinerbell has wonderful , healthy kits. *****sigh****

If we have decided that this is a "false pregnancy. she should be coming into heat soon, yes?

I had a good night's sleep last night, first one in three weeks....and everyone was on their best behavior this morning.

AAAAHHHH a peaceful day. How about the rest of you?

You????

I have this nightmare about coming home from work one day after I have given up all hope of being a grammy, and finding 10 kits all over the house, yelling at me because Tammy-Timmy is cleaning Pete's face!!!!
