I'm not psychic,I just see through people
I was just reading about this little Girl in cats S.O.S

http://www.petfinder.com/pet.cgi?action=2&pet=4511281

And it got me wondering.......What I was doing two years ago.

And for the life of me I cannot remember what I was doing two years ago

They say animal years are 7 for every one of ours......

Can YOU remember what you were doing two years ago or even fourteen years ago?

Edit
P.S Sylvie is in Saranac Lake,N.Y . at the Tri-Lakes Humane Society

Two years ago from now, I was working for a news paper company called WELT KOMPACT and thinking what I would be doing for my 18th birthday.

And well 14 years ago I was 4 years old :p and remember going to nursery school and shopping but thats about it!

Yes - I can remember 2 years ago (and fourteen years ago). My sisters and I have (and my mother had) extrordinary memory capabilities. I remember my sister's first birthday (we're Irish twins - I wasn't yet two) - that was twenty five years ago.

Nonetheless: poor Sylvie. Two years is a very long time to live in a cage.

Two years ago I was moving into this place so today was probably unpacking.

14 years ago I would have been on summer holiday, and being the beginning of August, we would have been visiting my grandma in Ireland for her birthday and getting ready for my first week at highschool

When I think of events of 2004 - I mostly remember Mom's surgery on her foot (little toe amputated) and the van being in for repairs, twice (and the shop manager yanking my chains!
).

Fourteen years ago, we were celebrating the birth of my first grandniece and the 60th birthday of Mom's twin sibs. It was also the beginning of a long period of deep depression.

The first thing I can clearly remember is being small enough that mom is carrying me against her shoulder. It is late fall or winter because she has thrown a light blanket over me as we are going out (probably for church) and I keep throwing the blanket off my head. I believe I would have been about a year old.

Fouteen years ago (I was 12), my family had just moved to Germany.

two years ago I was living alone for the first time after breaking up with my bf. It wasn't a happy time right then but it was the start of a much better life for me.

14 years ago I was in high school. Not much I really want to remember about that time, except as an example of what I don't want anymore.

The farthest I remember is around 23 years ago... I was in kindtergarden (spelling?) and I was very shy and everyone called me a sheep because of my short, curly hair

Two years ago I was taking summer school (Ancient World History) and working as an intern for GlaxoSmithKline (ended up hiring me). It horribly busy as my days were taken up with work and summer classes are crammed into 5 weeks... Wait I would have just finished that summer class so I would be basking in relief right now and enjoying the slow pace before school starts again.

Fourteen years ago... I was nine... I was about to enter the 4th grade. Aaaah I remember! We were movign from Colorado to Massachussetes. I think we had come the previous April (or June?) but hit a really bad snow storm that had come super late in the season and we were snowed into our motel. We spent a long time actually finding a place to live...actually we didn't find a place to live and decided instead of Concord, Mass we would move to Concord, NH. So up to Concord, NH we go and spend some time finding a place there. Finally we find an apartment to live in. This summer was unpacking and getting used to the area. I was just about to go back to school and it took a while to figure out the school I was supposed to go to. I had Mrs. Waters which was a combo 3rd/4th grade class at Kimball Elementary School.

Two years ago, I was 15, and my boyfriend and I had just spent our first summer together. I had my first summer job, and at about this time, I was getting things ready to go back to school as a sophomore.

14 years ago, I was only three.. I can remember some things, like being very curious, and touching a hot iron, getting my finger stuck in a mouse trap, having my first taste of dog food
, falling on the floor furnace and burning my arm, and thinking the saying "it's so windy outside that you could blow away!" was true, and crawling in one of the doghouses for two hours, screaming for mom to come get me so I wouldn't "blow away"..

Poor kitty - what a long time to be cooped up, without a family.

I do remember 2 and 14 years ago. Two years ago I got married and 14 years ago I was still in high school. That seems like another lifetime.

2 years ago I was working 60 hours a week. (No exageration either) Until I had my car wreck in December which changed my life forever. In good ways and bad ways. It is one reason I am being a stay at home mom. I could file for disabillity, but, I am 26, I have a hard time excepting I can't do the things I once loved to do. (Two years later
)
And I would much rather forget 14 years ago. I was 12, and that is when my dad became abusive. Now I do have some really good memories too. Some too good. Some I can't remeber.

Two years ago I was probably driving down south with my parents. Fourteen years ago I was just a baby. The first thing I can remember is getting my diaper changed.

I was trying to stay alive. It was the most horrible time of my life.

My life is 1000 times better now, so I try to not look back.

Yes, I remember both! Two years ago I was working; 14 years ago I was working; it seems like a million years ago I was working - for the same place!

At this exact moment, no. But I do remember that I was job searching and quite frustrated! I eventually got into a clerical training program, which I now teach. Fourteen years ago I was about to turn 10. It was a fantastic time in my life. My birthday is in a month. I remember everyone telling me how I was about to leave the single digits behind and becoming a doubld digit forever. It felt quite serious to me!

To be honest, 2 years ago is not a very good year(August) The only good thing about that year was that my daughter was born. But other than that, it was the year my dad passed(Oct) and he was sick ALL year from March until Oct.

Not a very good year for me.
