constant meowing!! Ahhh!!!

My cat Muggles tend to go through phases of meowing, these passed few months is his meowing phase and it's driving me up the wall because i dunno what he wants.
he would sit in the hall way and meow until he gets my attention and then he would lead me to the kitchen - but he gets fed like twice a day and he has dry food out - he does tend to be quite picky with his food and he got bored of tin tuna, so we moved him onto "Felix as good as it looks" and he would be ok with that for maybe a few days.
but this constant meowing is getting annoying - the only way i know how to stop him is to pick him up, it's not like he doesn't get attention either - i dunno what his problem is
can anyone help?

Do you play with him? With toys? Ever consider getting a playmate for him? You do have to change the food flavors (not brands) often as cats get bored very easily... mine never get the same meal twice in a row, and more often not even twice in a week, but then I'm a big suck for them!

My kitty is the same. I chalk it up to me spoiling her as a baby. If you find out what can fix that, lemme know!
