They want him to travel

Brent's work wants him to go to Pennsylvania this weekend and he asked me if I minded. Heck yeah!! It scares the crap out of me!! Am I overreacting about this?

Is it because he is going on a plane?

Yeah, it is because he will be on a plane. We're in St. Louis.

I don't think it's overreacting although, with the current level red or orange terror threat, security will be very tight it could be technically the safest time to fly if you look at it from a security point of view.
My Brother travels all of the time and I worry about him constantly but he always seems to come home. You have to have a positive outlook.

I understand how you feel but perhaps you can look at it as this would be maybe the best time to fly. Arthur will be going up to Michigan to get his parents car that we're buying and then driving it back so I'm terrified for him to go on a plane as well. But since those people tried to sneak those bombs on those planes you can pretty much garuntee that security will be the tightest it's ever been which might actually make it safer to fly. I could be wrong but to make myself feel better that's the way I choose to look at it.

I think he will be okay too. From what I have heard, the airports are taking a LOT of safety precautions now. If he goes, make sure he checks in a lot with phone calls.

Well, it turns out that they are going to ask someone else to go instead. I am so relieved. Thank you everyone. I even told Brent that he could go if they needed him to after reading everyone's responses. He told his boss how upset I was and he was totally cool about it and said he understands. Thanks again for helping me feel better.
