I went outside about an hour ago, and saw two girls and a cat. This cat was absolutely emaciated, had diarrhea, something that looked like mange, fleas, god knows what else... Plus she was pregnant.

We fed her, gave her some water, and they put her in a box and took her to the EMERGENCY VET!!!!

I know they don't really have the money to do this.

They said they might keep her, even.

This poor little stray girl (I doubt she's even a year) went from having been dumped (very friendly) to having a possible home, or at least someone caring for her, in less than an hour.

I am SOOOO happy!

That's good news - if you see the girls again, don't forget to give them the url for TCS so they can come here if they want to or need help.

That is soo good to hear!!! that the cat now has a home..

But it's still horrible that poor girl had to go through all that..

Hopefully they can find some interesting information on this site to help them.. I know I have..

It was so happy. Unfortunately I didn't see them again, although I did take over a little bag with some toys in it and left it at their door.

I'm sure the girls kept her, unless the vet said that there was something very wrong with her. They went to the best vet (imo) in the area that was open at the time.

They were considering spaying her, but it was probably too late in the pregnancy.
