sorry for posting about this again but it didnt get much attention under the previous title, anyway, i brought home a 5 month kitty today and it took about 2 hours to drive home and he pottied on himself in the carrier. i just dont know if i should try to bathe him or not since he just got here and isnt really used to us yet and i dont want to traumatize him. any ideas?

Urine or feces?
If it's just urine, I think you can wash cloth him.

If feces, try alcohol/scent free babywipes to clean the bulk, then washcloth.
You can always resort to a bath is that fails.

Yes, clean him up so he doesn't have to do it. I've washed barn kittens as soon as they are brought inside the house for weaning. First bath they don't know what in the world is going on and don't hold the bath against you
