Oliver's Birthday party

I thought I'd share a couple of pictures from Oliver's birthday party. No humans are in the photos, but there were 4 of us. My DH and myself of course, my ex husband, and the kittie's "uncle," Mousersdad. Their "aunt," Psjauntie sent a gift for Oliver.

wow! What a shin-dig! There was shrimp & everything!!! I hope Oliver had a great birthday!!!

It looks like Oliver and Tripod thought the cake was great! What wonderful presents you received too, Oliver!

Yes, Oliver did have a good time. He is a very sociable cat to begin with, so he loves company. He especially loves the guests who were there.

I ended up slicing the cake and giving them each a piece after the photo was taken. Tripod ate his shrimp while I was still in the process of cutting Oliver's into bite-sized pieces.

Here is my DH assembling Oliver's present. He won't let me show his face.

Here's Oliver playing with his bag of catnip. Its in a miniature Crown Royal pouch.



And here is Tripod resting under Oliver's present. He actually played with it a lot more than Oliver.

I want that toy! Where did you get it?

And I can't believe you had a party for your kitty... that is so cool! I might try that now.

The toy was from Wal-Mart for less than $6.00! It is a fun toy, but IMO it should be used with supervision. Tripod wants to eat the fibers on one of the dangly toys.
