Yikes!!

I'm moving this saturday to another town in Montana.... Fh is attending school there to complete his masters, and I was just accepted to the Professional and Technical Communications graduate program.

I must be insane. It's a 31 credit course, which I can do in a year, but I think I have a couple of remedials that I'll need to take.... so it's 16+ credits the first semester and 15+ the second....

I want to finish in a year so we can graduate together and then not have any loose ends when we're trying to find jobs and move (again) later.

Right now though the house is a mess... and the kits are all antsy, knowing something is going to happen.

Congrats! I hope you have a great time in grad school. Don't beat yourself up if you need to take a class or two less a semester though. I tried doing five classes in a semester my first year of grad school and about lost my mind. Now I do two at a time and work.

Thank all of you!!

Yes, I'm a little worried that I might over reach myself.

I'm planning a wedding and working too.... and want to keep up with my dancing... so it might get a little busy.

I'm majoring in Professional and Technical Communications...

Basically (one of the staff put it this way), it's translating what socially inept engineers say and do for the general public.
So we get the information, make it understandable, and then decide what format to present it in.

My BA is in Journalism, so it's not too far of a stretch.

Of course, it's an engineering school... so there's all sorts of jokes about how social engineers are the ones who stare at your feet while they're talking instead of theirs!

My fh isn't like that. I promise.
