Thanks so much! Maybe I'm not imagining things!

Annasmom: This would be the second time I've been preggers, the first was a little while ago and I miscarried at about four weeks.

Did either of you have the brown spotting with your pregnancies?? That's what has really got me scared. The last time it started right before I miscarried. Its much earlier this time and much lighter than before. I'm not cramping really with the exception of a very light cramp now and again. My uterus just kinda feels full if you know what I mean. I still feel like I can start any time, I just really really really hope I don't!! Your input is soooo important to me right now!!

Good luck.

(BTW: Since you are actually a few days late, its not really necessary to wait for the first morning's urine, I took both of my pregnancy tests in the evenings when I was 2 or 3 days late.)

Besides, if you're not, and hubby is coming home, it will only be about another week and a half before you can try to nail it on the nose while you're ovulating. You can do it!!!!!!

I'm still praying that we're going to hear good news, though!!! Can't wait!
I really want to take a test now, I'm just so darned scared!! I'm afraid I am and then will miscarry again, that was so hard! Plus with the way I'm feeling right now, my luck will be that I'll go spend money on the tests, take them and then start.
I still may wait till morning....I don't know...

With my second baby, I had some light brown spotting the day I expected my period. I actually remember telling my husband, "not tonight honey, I'm getting ready to start."

Its all so tricky because PMS symptoms are basically identical to early pregnancy symptoms.

If I were you, I wouldn't be able to stand not knowing. Both of my girls were surprises to the extent that we weren't using protection but not actively trying, so I would put it the test off a few days after I had missed my period. I imagine if we were actively trying, I would have been taking a prego test the day before I expected my period.

Go to Wal-Mart and get the Equate brand. I think you get 2 for about $8, so if this is a false alarm you'll have one all ready for next month.

We're not really really trying, but not trying to prevent it either. I'm not charting and we're not using protection. We've kinda taken a "let nature take its course" attitude to it for now. When it happens we'll be thrilled. I think I'm going to go ahead and go get a test. I might take it later tonight, and if aunt flo decides to make an appearance before then, I'll just put them up for next time. Or I suppose, since its wal-mart, I could always take them back!!
Thanks so much!

Well, you wouldn't need to take it back if it came... Technically you are trying, just not actively
. Save it for next time.

Wishing you the best of luck

Sometimes the symptoms of early pregnancy can be identical to the symptoms of just before you get your period, at least in my experience it was.

My tubes are tied, but sometimes, like once a year or so, I'm late and I still hope, and am disappointed when it starts, even though I certainly wasn't trying, or even considering the possiblity. I would be thrilled if it happened, but it shouldn't. LOL

I just went and bought tests. (Walmart is like a mile from my house) I got the answer brand and got two for about 8 dollars. This is the brand I used last time and I liked them. Now they are sitting on the table staring at me and after peeing every twenty minutes for the past two days, my bladder has decided to go on strike!
Maybe in a couple of hours...

On my way to walmart, I pass a flea market with a Graco playpen sitting outside on sale, and on my way into the store, I passed to preggo women, a sign maybe???

First off, is there anywhere in this state that Wal-Mart isn't a mile away from your house?

Second, I'm glad you took the plunge and bought the tests. Here's hoping you pee soon!

Well, I took the first test and it came out negative.
Now I don't know what to think. If nothing changes, I guess I'll take another one Friday morning...

Sometimes getting worked up about missing your period can delay it even longer. Maybe now that you've seen the negative test, you will relax and things will start flowing. Or maybe it was a false negative. (I'm pulling for this possibility!)

Well, I've asked for pee vibes for Polly. She has cystitis, so I've taken I don't know how many urine samples to the vet's.

No pun intended??

Sweetie, I'm really sorry it came back negative! I can imagine how emotional this all must be for you! Stay happy, relax, and we'll send your hubby vibes for "good swimmers"
