Wet food and dry food diet

ok right now kirra is 12 weeks old, so she has a supply of kitten chow 24/7 to her, but how much wet food is enough balance? we started out with 1/4 a can in the morning and in the evening when she first came to us at 7 1/2 weeks, she has tripled her size, so should we now goto 1/2 a can twice a day? i dont want to over feed her since she has dry food 24/7 or cause dental probs with to much wet, but she seems like she wants more.

I don't know what amount is "good," but my kittens are also on dry food 24/7 with one meal of canned. They're sharing one 3 oz. can, which they finish pretty quickly. They do slow down a little towards the end and then don't eat any dry food for a few hours, so this seems like a good size meal. They are both about three and a quarter pounds, one is estimated at 12 weeks and the other 4 months.

And from what others are saying here, and some reading I've done, wet food does not cause dental problems.

Oh its a 5.5oz can btw that we feed her.

Feed the cat/kitten not guidlines
If she is growing properly and eats that and isnt asking for more she likely is just a smaller appetite

well thats just it she is asking for more, but if she had her way she would have wet 24/7 lol so i am clueless

try feeding her more at one time and see if that helps...

OK when i give her dinner tonight i will give her half a can and see if she doesnt beg an hour later for more. will see how it goes
