Cletus T

I moved to my new house 3 years ago, and this cat kept hanging around and she was pregnant and skinny so I fed her. (I live oput in the country). Well, she had her kittens and kept bringing them to my house(these cats I later found out were my neighbors). One by one the kittens disappeared, all except this grey tiger cat. He came back night after night. He showed up one night with a hole in neck. It looked like someone shot him with a BB. So I doctored him up and he became my cat. My son named him Cletus T. this cat was so cute. He would ride on my son's shoulder when he was out in the garage working, ride on the tractor with him, and he was just the sweetest cat. This spring, my son and my husband were coming home and it was after dark. They noticed that Lucky was sitting beside the road and then they saw Cletus T laying beside him, bloody and broken. We had to put Cletus down, his legs were broken and he was pretty smashed up. I really miss the lil guy. I thought it was touching that Lucky was right there by his side.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Rest in peace Cletus T, enjoy your time at the bridge.

At least you had the opportunity to put him down peacefully.

That's better than him being missing and perhaps experiencing a painful, dragged out demise...all unknown to you.

So sorry for your loss.

This is so tragic, I'm so sorry you lost your darling Cletus T who you've loved since he was a little kitten, and in such a violent manner. He sounds like such a sweet little boy. Cletus T, you will be so missed.

What a sad story, but Lucky stayed with him till you could find him and help him to the bridge. RI P little one.
