Well, you guys have been a bad influence on me.
I don't have room to foster cats or dogs... but here are my new foster babies anyways.

They're lab mice, 5 of them. The experiment they were used for was over (behavioral experiments) and they would have been put to sleep. I don't know how old they are but to me they seem tiny and look like babies... but they probably aren't. It's just because I'm used to rats.
They're all boys... which means that I have a lot of "odor control" issues right now. I put them on Yesterday's News bedding and put a giant air filter on top of the cage. So the smell isn't too bad right now. Any other tips would be welcomed though!

Put arm & hammer baking soda underneath the litter in their cage- it's non-toxic and helps contol odor

So it's not gonna hurt them to eat some then, right?
I tried putting some at first, but when they had wrestling matches (boys!
), I ended up with powdered mice. So they probably end up licking quite a bit when cleaning themselves. Is that alright?
