Can anyone give me some info or tell me where I can find some good info on potty training your cats. Has anyone here tried it, does it work, is it better than scooping nad smelling the litterbox? Please let me know.

Believe it or not there are a lot of books about it at book stores. My boyfriend bought one called "20 days to toilet training your cat". He has two cats and has been going through the steps. It is a gradual process, and takes a lot of patience.(More than 20 days) You begin with the litter box moving it closer to the toilet. Than you begin raising the box a little at a time to get to the top of the bowel. Once you are level with the toilet seat you can put seran wrap over the bowl with a little litter in it. After a few days you cut a whole in the middle of the wrap so they can hear their urine hitting the water. And Wala you've done it. However, this is easier said than done. One cat took to it with no problems, his brother however is very lazy and does not like to jump up to the seat so he would rather use the box. If you take the box away he will go on the floor. We bought a contraption to sit on the toilet but he's the boss and when he doesn't feel like using the toilet you'd better have the box ready!! The other one is a pro... so I suggest really figure out the temprament of your kitty before deciding this route. I personally don't care to share a toilet with my cat. But to each their own
Good luck

I heard sitz baths (like, for hemmohoids) work well too, instead of saran wrap.
