If she was not out too long, your chances of her being pregnant are less. Hopefully she isn't pregnant. But you HAVE to keep her confined and not let out near a door - as much as she hates it or protests.

Since you do not know whether she is pregnant again or not...I would go ahead and have her spayed once the kittens she has are 6 weeks of age. If you cannot keep her locked in a room..then you need to get a hold of a large dog crate and place her and her kittens in the crate for when you cannot supervise the door. If there is an intact male cat outdoors...I would have him trapped and get him neutered. There is no reason to risk any other pregnancies especially so close to the last birth. Typically the second litter is not as healthy as the first one and given the new law enacted in Rhode Island..I would hate to see you end up being fined.

If the kittens are 6 weeks old, call the vet and get her spayed within the next week or two. It is not worth gambling with her health to let her go through another pregnancy so soon.
