They look like slugs to me!! *shudders* Not poisonous, they are just a snail without a shell. They creep me out though!

Crikey! I would have had the heeby-jeepers too! I don't think it's dangerous, but I dunno.

At least it's not like that movie Slugs where they freaking ate hamsters!

Oh yeah, I forgot to add, once on my patio I found one almost as big as my foot (and I wear an 8 1/2). Needless to say, I quit going out there without shoes...can you imagine what it would feel like to step on one of those??

I've never seen one that big again though...

Under a stack of blueberry waffles.
Those will mysteriouly show up at the base of my kitchen stove, right where you would put your feet. It's always a laugh and a half to see Pudge's reaction:

*leans in cautiously*
*pats slug*
*jumps back and waves paw around as if to say "EEeeew...it's all gummy and weird!"*
*leans in cautiously*
*pats slug*
*waves paw around disgustedly*
*walks off to play with something which DOESN'T make her paw-fur nasty*

Her silliness just makes her cuter.

I really think they look cool (I never kill the ones which show up inside. I just put them outside). I'm just dreading the inevitable day when I step into my kitchen and get a footfull of slug...

Actually it only takes a sprinkle.

When my ex-husband and I first bought our house I went outside to smoke on the back porch and seen one. I sprinkled a little salt on it and watched it melt. He got so mad at me because I didn't rinse the porch off and the sun baked it in.
He was mad for a month

And I wonder why my little boys are always doing stuff like this?

Because 95% of thier body is water and it dehydrates and literally MELTS them on contact...I used to think it was cool when I was a kid to do it but now it's flat out nasty... and Yes, I have stepped on one barefoot
I couldn't get the "feeling" out of my head for like a week.. everytime I thought about it I got grossed out
