My husband is making his very first cake. This could go well, this could also be the end of our marriage.. (just kidding). Anyway he's going to need some prayers.

They are cooling right now... the baking process went well. Now we are off to make some frosting. I've decided to help with this one. He didn't understand the concept of a double boiler.

Yes, and everything is fine. A double boiler is used to melt chocolate over low heat so it doesn't sease. I usually make a chocolate ganosh. It's very yummy.

Oh sure! I'd love to have a TCS get together and make cakes and muffins for everyone. They don't look pretty, but they taste good.

I don't let my Dh near the stove/oven. Matter of fact I just made turtle brownies

Last time I let him cook, I ended up with hamburger helper that tasted like pineapple

Don't worry....my husband once was making peanut butter cookies and discovered we were out of butter....so he substituted the butter with MORE PEANUTBUTTER!
They looked like little balls of well....peanut butter, but they tasted ok!
