I'm actually VERY much into candle-making...I've been doing it for several years, and finally have it down pat. I'm into making soy jar candles...I love to give them as gifts, and make holiday gift baskets with them.

Here's some of my favorite candles I love to make:

Chestnuts & Brown Sugar
Cinnamon Roll w/Vanilla Frosting (this is REALISTIC!!)
Vanilla Buttercream Crunch
Blueberry Cheesecake
Cranberry Spice
Nana's Old Fashioned Apple Butter
Pumpkin Nog
Brown Sugar Pecan

You can tell I love my house to reek of food/bakery scents.
Do any of you craft or have specific hobbies?

I dabble in many things, but I never truly finish, lol. I love to bake, though. I would love to own a sewing machine and start making things for around the house, like throw pillows and such. I guess I should make sure we have a couch first, lol.

I've also started getting into digital scrapbooking. I used some digital scrapbooking stuff to make my own wedding invitations.

I do a lot of crafty things. I don't have one specific thing that I do a lot of though. Currently I am seaching my study for a chili pepper stamp I bought so I can work on a mug holder for my kitchen. I'm having a party in less than 2 weeks and I really want the decorating done! Anyone want to come help me sew the curtains!?! Thank the Lord the baby shower I'm throwing next weekend will be at my mothers!

I have done stamping, painting projects, basic welding, fun things made out of concrete, bead stuff. I am taking a class this fall on how to make whisk broom and am growing my own supply of broom corn. I dabble in many things and have the closet in my sewing/craft/computer room organized for craft projects (the wire shelves I installed specially for this stuff!!

)At this moment I have several pieces of jewelry I have made/designed by the computer. I have been thinking about taking pics and posting what I have done. I have lots of stones that are cut and waiting for the jewelry to be made.

I have also done various forms of needlework - embroidering, cross-stitch, needlepoint.

My sis has been doing soaps (love her mint julep) and soy wax candles as a business and I have one of her honeysuckle ones on my CPU (acting as a warmer). My fav candle is the choclate cake.

I would love to learn how to sew...it's never been my forte...I don't even own a sewing machine. I do like to crochet though...I'm kind of into making afghans with different textured yarns.

I truly do admire anyone who can sew.

I make jewelry and hangers out of stones I wrap with copper or silver wire. My grandma polished stones for a hobby, and I still have some of those. I am reluctant to part with any more, so I am going to have to find a source for more stones. I have a tumbler, so I could polish them myself. I want to go to the other end of NC to Maggie Valley to look for some stones.
I recently bought some candle making kits and want to get started on those for Christmas. I am also dabbling at making bath scrubs and oils. I am going to team up with my part time employer to make stuff out of her herb garden.
I love to cross stitch, but cannot see well enough to do it any more.
I have a bunch of Fimo clay that I need to make use of before they dry up.
So much to do, so much time, so much procrastination!

Here is a link to what the outside looks like, with one difference (the words "the best is yet to come" have been replaced with "come rain or come shine"):

I am a scrapbooker and paper crafter. And I did make my own wedding invitations.
I bought really nice heavy silver deckle edged paper from a website. My sister printed them in grey tone. I dry embossed an ivy growing up one side and stamped a little purple butterfly. They were really cute but by the end of the dry embossing my hand was killing me!! So the response card only got a stamped butterfly. But I love playing with paper. Beautiful paper is my spending weakness.

No Vacancy...One on the way!
I like herp keeping. Gots my two snakeys. its more a hobby than simple pet owning.

I have decided to give making my own wedding invitations a whirl (when ever dan asks me to marry him haha). I wanna use a cream colored note card and use black script and black ribbon. I have it perfectly in my head! simple and sweet!

But I have a dream, to make my own sexy undies and nighties! I have tons of ideas for cute and sassy clothing but....I have no time or Moolah to get started.

when i was in a sorority we used to make scrapbooks for our little sisters...those were pretty fun. Came up with some great stuff!

I enjoy woodworking, although I haven't done much of it recently. No workshop since the move. But my dad and I are working on building a new workshop in the backyard, so we'll be back into it soon enough.
More recently, I've taken a fancy to digital photography. Still in the early stages of that obsession. If you've seen my posts in fur pics and pet pics, you've seen some of my best work so far.

I like to sew and quilt... I've crocheted and beaded in the past.

I'm planning on making my own wedding invitations with Nature Print paper... that stuff is SO cool.

I'm also working on building a "Mermaid" house out of stones I got from the beach last summer. I've got shells and seaweed to make the decorations out of.

I like to cross-stitch. That's pretty easy to do while I'm watching TV at night. I really like to scrapbook but it's just SO hard to do it with a 2 year old. She's into EVERYTHING and won't stop touching things she shouldn't. By the time she's in bed, I'm too exhausted to drag everything out.

I dabble in many many crafts- I sew, I knit, I use polymer clay, I scrapbook/misc papercraft, I paint... anything I haven't tried, I want to try.

Have any of you been to www.craftster.org ? It's devilishly addictive and really inspiring and fun. I suggest you check it out.
