My babies will be a week old tomorrow. One still has the dry shriveled cord attatched. I gave it a close look and it doesn't look red or infected in any way but shouldn't it have fallen off by now?

I clicked ont the link and it says the cord should have fallen off by now. Should I do anything? Or just let it be?

It will eventually fall off... ripping it off could cause problems.... you could accidentally rip the tender skin at the base. You could cut it about an inch from the base if you are sure all the tissue is dead. Some of mine didn't fall off until later, so I wouldn't worry about it.

if it's not showing any sign of infection and the kitten or the mum doesn't seem worried about, you don't need to worry either. it will fall off in due time.
