Just want to share a fundraising tip to those working with non-profit rescue groups.
My Humane Society acquired a block of tickets to the Jones Store/Macy's Shop for a Cause Day. It's held nationwide on September 16th. It is their support for non-profit organizations.
For a $5 donation, you receive a coupon for $10 off anything in the store and a ticket to receive 10-20% off a lot of items in the store. Your organization will receive additional proceeds from the sales made that day.
You must be a non-profit to obtain these passes. I bought a block of 40 of them and sold 25 in the first day. That translates to 5 feral cat speuters at our Humane Society.
I didn't set it up so can't give you the details on who to contact. If you call your local store, call their office and ask for their community relations number - most stores work thru those channels.
