Hope this is in the right spot!

I'm looking for yummy treats to use for training our cats. I have Pounce, which Lily eats and Eve licks. Eve will sometimes eat her treat if Lily is about to steal it. They like them but not a whole lot.

Eve tends to lick all of her food. She licks the gravy from pouch foods but won't eat the chunks. She licks the dry food but eventually eats it. At least with pate or small-chunked canned food she gets a bunch of food in her mouth with a lick.

So I'm looking for a treat that they can both get excited over. Any ideas? I have the free Greenies sample coming in the mail but I can't see Eve liking that too much. I want to be able to reward them for coming when I call, going in their carrier, etc.

Sorry, I can't help you. I haven't found a cat treat that my cats like. They sniff them and walk away after making an attempt at burying them, LOL

I have yet to have a cat turn down Temptations. I think thats what they are called, they are square, comes with all kinds of stuff in the middle. And they come in a pouch, kind of like a ziplock. Found at most stores.

I think Dairy and beef were the favorites..
My 4 wont eat anything else

If you're just using it for treats, how about plain, unflavored yogurt?
I've only ever met one cat that wouldn't eat it.

Way cheaper than cat treats too.

I thought that cats shouldn't get dairy products because they have trouble digesting them. Or is yogurt okay because of the bacteria?

Yogurt is ok, not something I would give in large quantity but I do give plain yogurt once or twice a week here.

I'm lactose intolerant so I drink "Lactaid" milk and give that to my cats. They love it and have not had diarrhea because there is no lactose in it.
