Oh I am in love

so we have been thinking about moving for sometime, evil landlord as some of you saw, well theres this house in the neighborhood i grew up in. just a few doors down from my moms. and it came up for rent. So we called and called, and finally today we got to go see it

I am in LOVE

It was built in 1928, and has all the orginal woodwork which is beautiful i love that old woodwork. a sun porch, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one is full one its just shower and sink and toilet. (told steve that one can be his man room lol)

They are still doing some work, and want to make another bedroom, and living area in the basement. Which steve quikly volenteered to help with, lol because he used to do that kinda work

The backyard has a full 7 foot privacy fence, with locks on both gates...nice landscapeig, a brick patio...

and the most shocking part..

A POOL. I sure did one of these seeing that.

So than..i broachedt he difficult part of any viewing when it doesnt state on the sign..

"whats your policy on pets"

She smiled and said "I love them"

So we told her about our meneajrie and she Loved that we had them

has a two car garage as well

So cross your fingers for us. Her fiance is the one handling the deal, sop we have to talk to him about what the price is. Hope its in our range, and if he would be willing to possibly make a deal on having steve help him finnish the basement, and do some of the other basic stuff that needed to be done. (yard has some debris ect)

I am in love with this place. and its in a neighborhood that i ADORE i grew up in this neighborhood

LOL my new camera doesnt arrive til wensday..but trust me. i we get this place there will be LOTS of pictures.

thanks i cant wait the pools gonna need some maitence as they havent used it yet this year. but its only a year old..*dances*

That sounds awesome! We can't get a house for another year and a half because someone*cough*Travis*cough*signed an additional two year lease Now he is complaining that he wants a house now....UGH! MEN! So he would be so jealous!

Thanks well steve talked to the guy...and although its a bit more than we want to spend..its dooable. especially if they will work with us on the first month, prorate and because of the work that needs to be done yet. ect. Its very dooable. and since we are so in love..we are gonna make it work

Yup and it was all nicely dark oiled. oh it was wonderfull and it has the old fashioned ceilings, and everything oh its just so lovely

Congrats! It must've been a little tense when you were waiting for a reply on "whats your pet policy?". I know how difficult it can be to find a place that will take pets.

I am so happy for you!! It sounds like a great place, and great landlords! I don't want to hijack, but what all does your "menagerie" include? There are so many people on this site, that I can't keep everyone straight, and don't always know which people have which animals!
