I have a litter of kittens that are a little over 1 week old. This morning i spoted a little white worm in their bed. Isnt it a bit early for them to have worms?
what are some things i can do?

Thank you,
amanda

You'd have to have mom tested and the babies tested to see what kind it is (roundworms or tape worms). I'd call your vet and ask what you should do or when they can be safely wormed. A week old is too young to worm them.

A large majority of kittens have worms - they "inherit" them from their mom, so this isn't unusual. Talk to your vet about what age/weight they have to be for deworming.
