It's ok, really, things aren't that bad where I live (yet?). The heavily targeted towns have been pretty much evacuated here, which is one reason why the numbers of casualties in Israel are relatively low (compared to the way things are in Lebanon). My husband has been called up to his emergency post up in the north 3 weeks ago, and really the hardest thing for me is not having him around with us. I have to say, now that the kids are asleep, that I am a bit shaken. War is no fun, to no side, and looks like this one is going to be longer than anticipated... We'll manage though, don't worry We'll survive this one and be stronger for it as a nation. It's what we've always done

It's good to hear from you Anne. I've been keeping up with your journal daily and am nervous when I don't see an update from your side. War is horrible on its own but it must really be hard being separated from your husband. Hugs to you, your husband and kids.

We're ok here, really, no reason to worry. I am mainly missing my hubby and waiting for this crazy war to end. I don't want to go into the politics of it all here (wrong forum ), so if anyone wants more of that, just visit my blog.
