TGIF!

Tonight I get to bake a million cup cakes and make a billion pigs in the blanket for my sisters baby shower tmorrow. I counted all the candies in the bottle (271) and I have to make signs giving directions and get the rest of the games ready! Gonna be a long night!!

Sounds like it's going to be a fun baby shower!

I'm going to have a relaxing day, I plan on dropping off yet another resume today, and going to work out.

Other than that it's just tons and tons of housework.

HAPPY FiNALLY COOL FRIDAY-Off to mow the lawn,followed by the eye dr. for checkup then baking for our library book/bake sale tomorrow-so glad it cooled down

-didn't relish the idea of baking in the heat

Good Morning Fellow Cat Ladies (& Gents)!

Brandi: Happy Baking!!! I love to bake, although I do not envy you in this heat having to turn on the oven!

I had a good dr's appt at the chiropractor's. But she wasn't able to get 1 tiny little pea sized knot out of my neck, and didn't want to keep pushing for fear of hurting me... so, another rough night of sleep for me!

I had hubby's friends over for dinner last night... really I mean that he showed up with 2 friends & they were all like "mmm what are you cooking for dinner?????" So I cooked for all of them, and they were very greatful. I got some things done around my house, and still had some cuddling time with hubby.

LuckyGirl just followed me around everywhere last night & this morning, which only makes my day.

For the weekend, we have a picnic at my parents... and that's it!

TGIF!!!

Last night was quite productive! Got off work and made supper and some chocolate chip oatmeal cookies

Believe it or not, there are actually some left this morning!

Went to the local tattoo parlor and picked out my new tattoo that I'm getting, I can't wait! I've been saving up A LOT lately, so I'm pretty excited to get it done in a few weeks

Its going to be Koi Fish (black & white) with pink & yellow Lotus Flowers around the current tattoo I already have (my zodiak sign). I can't wait!!

I'm heading home tomorrow for the weekend to see my family and go camping, I'm pretty excited!

I am sooo happy it's friday....tonight Jason and I are going to go out and eat and celebrate because he got a big raise at his work ....then we are going to watch a nice movie at home and stay in for the whole night!!

I re-covered the little footstool I bought at the estate sale last night-I told DH no shoes on it-clean feet or socks only!!
This morning I now have several loads of laundry on clothesline, made croutons, vaccummed and cleaned the bathrooms-maybe more cleaning/organizing later
-no plans tonite-we should start the patio project this weekend!!
OH the person restoring Neil JD tractor-its running!!!!! a few more tweaks then its off to the paint place-I haven't even asked the cost of this so far!!-this tractor was the only new one his dad ever bought (1952?) so to him its worth it!!

I'm exhausted today and I don't think I'll be doing much. I'll try not to beat myself up about it too. (but I can't promise anything!)

I'm waiting for my mini-pizzas to be ready, then I'll eat and leave for the fish store.

Today I'm getting my fish!! No more empty fish tank for me!

Don't go saying any of this stuff in front of my hubby! I have him thinking that just keeping up with my hair & nails is a full time job! I don't have time to do all that other stuff! He's lucky he gets dinner cooked nights!

I haven't been working much lately and with the heat the house needed cleaning badly!!
I might just end up reading a book this afternoon after I make some sangria!!
-BTW do you sleep with a rolled up towel in your pillow-I did that after my neck injury or when it acts up and its works very well.

Why YES! I'd love to come over for some sangria!!!!

I don't sleep with a rolled up towel. But I do sleep with a body pillow, and wrap myself kind of around that. So the towel, do you roll it, then put it at the bottom of your pillow, so it acts as a platform for your neck, and then your head rests on the pillow? I may try this tonight... I seem to carry the weight of the world on my neck & shoulders... Thanks for the tip!!!

I agree, today is not a good day. I have work until 6, the BF works until 5, my mum's computer broke so we have to go fix it, and we have too much to do this weekend. I'd rather it were monday!
