i know its a good idea to avoid artificial coloring, i really dont understand the point of added colorings anyway but, is caramel color in cat food dangerous? thanks )

Carmel color often hides wheat and is sometimes artificial .. I would steer clear of it personally
I noticed Iams has that caramel in their new brands of canned foods. But that's the canned food my cats seem to enjoy best right now. Oh well, at least it's not Friskies or Fancy Feast.
