Tonight after work, I was SO thirsty, but I didn't know for what. So, I open the fridge....

Pop? No...
Apple Juice? No....
Water? Maybe... nope, still thirsty.

Then I saw it.... MILK! I drank about 3 glasses, and then I was set

I don't know why it is, but whenever I'm REALLY thirsty, milk seems to be the only thing that qwenches my thirst.

What about you? Whats your thirst qwencher?

It depends....if I'm just really hot, or have had a long day, I love to have really really cold Mountain Dew. ( I know, I know, bad me for loving carbonated, caffeinated drinks!) But if I'm actually thirsty, water is great! I have gotten so much better lately, I find myself craving fresh water so much more! It helped alot that I started buying bottled water, but today I went ahead and bought a Pur water filter for my sink (It'll save money in the long run, but I'll miss bottled water, its so easy!)

I am on a bottled water kick lately too! I have cut back on soda to like maybe half a can every few days now and it's always diet! I was on a regular Coke kick....luckily that ended

Yeah, I only allow myself one a day at lunchtime (if I don't have my mountain dew at lunch while I'm at work, I about fall asleep!). I tried diet mountain dew, but I just don't think it tastes the same whatsoever...

If I can find a drink to give me energy that is better for me than Mountain Dew, I'll try it, but I just have to have my caffiene during the day!

Water, milk or juice for me.
I've never liked pop (I don't like how the carbonated bubbles feel on my tongue, if that makes any sense
), and although I do like coffee, I find that it can be a migraine trigger for me, so I just generally avoid it. I'd like to try the flavoured thingies you add to water, but most of them are made with aspertame, which is another migraine trigger for; instead, I splurge on Nestle's "Splash" flavoured water line (strawberry, orange, raspberry and lemon), or I drink my water unflavoured. I actually like how water tastes. As for milk, I prefer 1% or skim, but my boyfriend prefers homogenized
so we compromise and get 2%. Beverages are about the healthiest things I consume!

in a pile of open toed shoes!
Water for me!!! I have a brita pitcher with a spout like a water cooler, so I keep it filled all the time. And if I need something sparkling, I have those flavored sparkling waters that are SO good.

I'd say I drink a 20oz diet soda maybe 4 times a week with lunch. But that's it. Oh, and I keep 2 different pitchers of crystal light in my fridge at all times... mostly for my hubby & child. No need for all that extra sugar!

Usually iced tea does it for me, I'm with Brandi, I absolutely cannot drink milk. The only time i will touch it is in my cereal, and even then I only use just enough to moisten it

And here I was thinking I was the only weirdo that only eats it in cereal and not that much. makes me sick to see Lee drink the leftover milk in his cereal bowl! Yuck!

Me too, I have no idea what it is, but milk just doesn't give me a happy feeling in my mouth
