Yesterday I woke up with a small back ache on my left side. I thought I had slept wrong. Well this morning I woke up and the WHOLE left side of my back was hurting. I could barely walk.
I took a couple of Advil in hopes that it will go away. Later this afternoon I sneezed a couple times and my ribs started hurting. Now I'm sore all over and have no idea why. Any advice? I might end up going to the ER if it doesn't stop by tomm morning

You could have a pinched nerve. Either a trip to the doctor, or the Chiropractor is in need.

ER isnt necessary though.
Watch out what they do at the doctor, my mother had severe back pain, and ended up getting 2 different surgerys, one where they put a box with wires attached to her spine, and now she's on Morphin patches and addicted to them.
Back pain can be a little problem, but it might turn into a bigger problem if the doctors do the wrong thing. So I'd say go to the Chiropractor, and see if he can nudge something out of the way.
BTW...I'm a little delirious after scrubbing my entire kitchen, and I think I may have killed some Brain Cells with all the cleaning supplies, what should I do about that? Not to hi-jack your thread or anything..but I'm feeling whoozy, and not sure what to do.

Go outside and get some fresh air... and it's a break from the baby

Eat something too.. Something like bread or toast.

Funny you ask about this, I just started physical therapy today for a pain that I had in my lower back. It just would not go away, no matter what I did. So far it's helping and I've only had one session so far. I'd call your doctor and get checked out he/she may recommend PT for ya.

I did a similar thing a while ago. I was just carrying groceries in a while ago, they weren't particularly heavy, and I don't recall even going "ow", but about half an hour later one side of me was really sore in my back.

The next morning I woke up and I was in agony. I couldn't use my left arm, but I decided I was just being a wimp, so went to work. I couldn't steer the car properly because my left side was so sore and I had no strength. I got to work (still thinking it would sort itself out), and half an hour realised it was silly because I couldn't turn or use my left arm.

I booked straight in for a massage, and went home. My husband drove me to the massage therapists that afternoon, and he was trying to figure out what the problem was. I turned to my right and could turn without any pain, but when I turned to the left, I could move my head a little and that was it - I couldn't turn to the left at all!!

So he gave me a really good massage, and by the time I walked out I already had more movement, that evening I had a bit more, and more funtion in my arm, and the next day I was pretty much fine. Still a little stiff and sore but sooooo much better!

I prefer a massage to a chiropractor - a chiro feels too rough for me!
