Seeing all these birthday threads reminded me that my bf's is only in a couple of months and i have No idea what to do.

So far I am getting him London Towers tickets because he
basketball. But now I'm stuck for a good day out. I'm planning in advance so I have time to save up- it need to be really good since its 2days after our 1 year anniversary (although we're not married
).
What did you do for your partners birthday/anniversary, or what did they do for you? Pick your best/sweetest/most romantic/enjoyable time and share it!
Please, I need help *bats eyelashes*

Does he like the outdoors? You could go on a picnic somewhere nice and bring a bottle of wine.

Anywhere near a botanical garden?

Obviously, have a back up plan in case you are rained off!

For my last birthday my husband and I pretended to be tourists in our town. We went to local museums and locations that we had never been to before but that other people travel hundreds of miles to see on their vacation (like the Hollywood Wax Museum and Ripley's Believe it or Not). Then we went out for a nice dinner at my favorite restaurant. Very memorable.

It would be hard for you to know this at your age, but going to a movie is usually a bit, well - bath salts.

It counts as a day out - like baths salts counts as a present - but it's not often a special day out, just like baths salts aren't usually a great present.

Movies are usually for ordinary, occassional dates - as you get older and have a bit of income, they're not usually 'special occasion' fare (usless the recipent really loves movies, or this particular movie, or you guys haven't gotten to go to the cinema in forever because of work, being broke, new baby, that sort of thing).

(Just a quick insight into the mind of grown ups. Maybe the next time your parents have a babysitter night, you can encourage them to do something special and unusual.)
