Needless to say, we've all been gnome hunting lately. Those pesky little creatures are always stealing socks, loosing our car keys, and hijacking our threads here on TCS. So, i thought I'd start a new thread- with recommendations on how to remove those pesky little critters! Add your suggestions

1. Pop them upside the head with a newspaper
2. Spray them with a waterbottle
3. Lay down fly traps, and watch them get stuck on the sticky tape
4. Beat them with a fly swatter
5. Call the GnomeBusters!!!
6. Leave out Gnome traps around your washer and dryers!
7. Train your kitties to hunt Gnomes
8. Buy Gnome Collars for everyone to wear around the house
9. String some Gnome Garlic and make a Gnome detouring key chain
10. Install a Gnome Alarm!!!

Lately on TCS, threads and posts have been disappering, nobody knows why, not even the mods. I personally had my "favorite frozen pizza thread" disappear a few days ago. It was quite tragic!
Needless to say, everyone has claimed to see mysterious "gnomes" runnning away with things such as socks, keys, toilet paper, and even hijacking our TCS threads! We are all on a mission to get rid of them
. Hope that clears things up for you and also, WELCOME TO TCS!!!

Okay folks.. True story. My MIL knew I wanted a gnome last year. So she got me one at the dollar store. Nice little fellow. I left him on the porch all winter.. I swear to god, he melted/crumbled away.. bye bye gnomie. So if you are gonna leave your gnome out, make sure he is well made!

My co-worker was just telling me the other day how one of her neighbor's gave her 2 gnomes for her birthday....and they live next door, so she had to put them out. Well recently someone else got her 2 more gnomes since they saw the others.... Lesson learned: Put thoughtful gifts from neighbors in the BACK yard!

I'll suggest she ship them all off to Australia. I'm sure wonderful sweet Danielle won't mind a few more!

Nothing worse than a cheap gnome.

Check out the thread "Running Gags on TCS". The gnomes first appeared last year.

Then we recently had this thread...
http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho...ghlight=gnomes
It's now closed and most of us have changed our siggies to more normal ones, but a few gnomes remain lurking about...
