Nicole Johnson has a male orange cat "Cat" under 1 year old, it was abandoned by a friend who was staying with her. She is going to abandon the cat on the road if rescue is not found. She IS SERIOUS! Please email me if you can take him.

Email Janet at [email protected] if you can take this soon-to-be-abandoned cat!!!!!!!!!!!! This cat is in metro Atlanta.

Maybe you could tell your friend to call the local shelter in Atlanta since it's a no-kill shelter. Or, call around to area vet's and ask if they could take him in to help find him a home. Also, try www.petfinder.com, and do a listing for him. There are not many people on here from Georgia, and you will find a lot of people are already at their maximum limit of cat's. Try to let her know she has options instead of just dumping this poor dear in the streets where he could be seriously hurt, and possibly even killed.

Oh no, no - I don't know this person - I got this in an email sent to an animal rescue list I'm on.
