We are adopting Cappuccino!

After talking to my mum about it.. she thought about it and decided that he would be allowed to join the family permanetly, but ONLY if I could get my grandmother (also our landlord) to let us get another cat.

I talked to her about it, and suprisingly, she said she wanted to adopt him! But she doesn't want to deal with a litterbox.. so we came to the agreement that he will live here with us, we will pay for his vet bills, food and litter. And she can come see him and cuddle him whenever she wants (she lives right across the hall) SHe has even taken him over there once or twice in the air conditioning.

So we will now have a family of five cats, a dog, and four humans

This will be the 3rd foster kitten we have adopted. And all of them have been bottle babies. You just get so attached to them.

I'd love to keep Macchiato and Latte too, but we can't afford 3 more cats. Nor would we be allowed to. But they are going in for their first vaccinations by the end of the week (I still can't believe I ahve had them since they were 12 days old!) and will be going to the rescue to find a new forever home.

So just sharing that it is for sure, that we are keeping him. Hopefully my grandmother won't go changing her mind now.

Oh yes! He isn't even 8 weeks yet and I swear he has got to be 2-3 pounds already. And he definately is going to be long or medium haired.. it's not really long, but it is long enough to run your fingers through it, and boy is it soft. (that Royal Canin must be doing it's job!)

It took my forever to find that name!

I already had Cppuccino (who we mostly just call Cappy, Capper, or just Cap) abd then Latte.. they were both easy.. then I had to go looking online to find Macchiato..
I didn't really want to name him Espresso!

What a beautiful boy. And to be lucky enough to have such a wonderful forever home. That's great news.
