Hi, folks

I am brand new to this wonderful site and forums. I don't know how I've missed finding it, before! We (my son, 11, and I) have a household of 2 humans and 4 feline adoptees.

I adopted an adult male cat from the county pound last week, and he is one interesting puss. He is a buffy-creamy tabby with brown spots/tabby marks, and black feet. Those feet are polydactyl all the way around (6,6,5,5)
and the fronts have 'thumbs'. His tail is about 2-3 inches long and straight.

Do you think maybe he has some Pixie-Bob in him? At any rate, he is one sweet lover of a kitty and we are so happy we found him. He is very mellow and gets along with man and beast. He uses those big feet to "pet" us, back.

I'd rescue a dozen cats if I didn't think my friends would have me committed!

Oh my, he is gorgeous! Definitely not a run-of-the-mill cream tabby, for sure! He's more cinnamony colored according to my monitor.

"Thanks", he sez...

He does look ginger-y in that series on my camera. Here is a picture that is more true to his "in-person" color:

There is a hint of red in his agouti (sp?) ticking, but more of a rose-brown, with some black down his spine...
weird but pretty.

So, you're cat has... 22 toes?
I just had to make a joke. He's simply gorgeous! It's a wonder how such a handsome guy ended up in the shelter, but now he has a lovely mom and big brother to watch out for him.

Does he use the thumbs to pick stuff up? I think polydactyls are so neat.

Thanks for all the "awwws". He is a neat cat.
He has not 'picked up' anything with his thumbkins, that I have seen, but does use his feet like spoons to slop water all OVER the place (water bowl, potty, whatever he happens to find available.)
He is gaining weight and filling out well. Thanks for all the welcomes.
