radio question of the day: 08/01/06

With no A/c I think its as hot inside the house as outside. Right now sipping on ice water (i have a bit of a headache.) a damp towel around my neck and a fan blowing on my back. These next few houses are going to be DREADFUL!!! But I leave in a n hour for dentist appt in a/c!!! Its starting to cloud up and is "only" 88 right now heat index 99. Rain predicted after 4 pm 60% chance heavy rain tonite and tomorrow morning-the high is only to be 80!!!!
Also going to grocery store after dentist appt to buy some COLD BEER!!!!

A/C and not going outdoors.

a/c, cold water, and NO TURNING ON THE STOVE (takeout for dinner tonight...)

I have A/C at work, but I'm dreading going home -- we don't have A/C there. I think I might move into the shower and waste a LOT of cold water. I'd stay at work 'cept I don't actually LIKE my job ...

By freezing in these over-air-conditioned buildings ugh! Why does the AC have to be in the 60's in such heat??

Eeek no string bikini for me! Jumping in a pool sure does sound good right now though! Closest we come is the shower.
I have to out in the heat all day. And no a/c in the car and no a/c at home. Oh well, it'll be winter soon enough and then we can all complain about the cold!

I'm on my way, but I'm leaving the string bikini behind in favour of something more ... ahem ... modest. Believe me, I'm doing everyone a favour: I don't skinny dip, I chunky dunk!

When I saw how hot today was supposed to get, I turned to my boyfriend and said "I miss your parents." (My future in-laws have a pool and central air.) I don't think it would be tooooo much trouble for the two of us (and our cats) to move into their basement, right? Right?

I stay inside!

This chick has central air at home and what they like to call a/c at the restaurant. I also have it at in the car!!! no hot for me! I hate it when it's to hot or to cold. I like it at 70 degrees. Why can't it be that way all year round?

Hmm the heat here is nothing compaired to that which I experienced in New Mexico, so I normally am outside enjoying while I do my walks and such. I wear light clothing and have a fan.

Sitting in the air conditioned living room and when it got even warm after reaching 100 degrees + I convinced hubby to buy another a/c for the house. See...sometimes the heat IS a good thing
