I read that certain makes of cars are stolen for their parts. Does the A/C work?? If not with the hot weather maybe someone will abandon it??

Yeah the AC was just recharged-- so they had wonderful Ice cold air!!!!!
It is an 86 chevy caprice- a real hot item apparently
Most people here(in st louis) have better luck going out and finding their on cars- the police dept absolutely sucks!!!!!!!!! is'nt that pathetic? You have a better chance finding your own car- its like the police don't even bother looking! Car theft has become a MAJOR problem for our city "(

Good vibes on getting your car back!

This is probably a long shot, but is there any chance it was towed? My fiancés car was gone from in front of his house one morning and when he called to report it stolen, it turns out the cops had towed it! For no reason! (he used to live in a jurisdiction where the cops had nothing to do and made most of their income from tickets and fines).

Just a thought. Though if you've already called it in, then it's probably stolen.
