Yes, I've looked at the websites, but I'm looking for something kinda specific.

Preferably fairly short, end with a "y" or the "ee" sound, and preferably a character from a tv show/movie - something cute. And it can't sound too human.
I liked Nemo, but it didn't have the "ee" sound, and my husband is saying it's a boy name, cause Nemo was a boy fish...

I was thinking of Buffy as well...

Personality wise, she's sweet, and now she's settling in is getting the kitten excitedness in her. Her new big sister is named Genevieve (but called Stumpy). She was found riding in a car engine compartment, but I don't know what sort of car.

Any other ideas?

Buffy would work (obviously!)

Trinity (the Matrix)

Kaylee (Firefly) - from your personality description, I think it sounds like her

Zoë (Firefly)

I'll try to think of a few more.

(In your pic thread of her I suggested Mithrandir (the elves' name for Gandalf and Sindarian for 'Grey Wanderer'), easily shortened to Myth. It also sounds nicely legendary to go with Genevieve. I still like it, but it doesn't meet your criteria).

We thought Dory as well! I like Trinity and Daisy as well! Mithrandir is a cool name, but I think I'd call a boy cat that.

Sigh, he thinks Daisy is a cow name, not a cat name. This is going to take forever. Can you imagine what we'll be like trying to choose a kids name once we have kids????

We're now thinking of Spanish translations...

"guerrero de camino" is "Road Warrior". That's kinda cool

Kitten is "gatito", or traveller "viajero"...

I think it is too! Definately a cute little girly name.

If Davidson was a girl, I was going to name him Lexus - I love that name!

I know the felling about the naming! My mom is calling me with portugese words like cat and lie (cause I told Lee a little white lie so we could adopt her) It will come to you.... eventually!

I loved the suggestion of Kaylee from Firefly/Serenity but maybe that's just because I loved her character.

I would also be tempted to name a cat Lorelai, Rory or Sookie.

Zoe is a really pretty name, but I have a good friend called Zoe, so that'd be a little weird...
Lexie is nice, I'll run that by the boss

Maybe something with a silver theme since she's a silvery colour...

Female - were they the masculine versions??

We have both agreed that Stormy might be good... we might have a winner!

With Rigel's suggestions...in the Spanish language...words are masculine & feminine. To sum it up...some words end in "a" when it is feminine & "o" when it is masculine. So...a female kitten is a 'gatita' whereas a male kitten is a 'gatito'. Beautiful when referring to male is "bonito" whereas when referring to a female is "bonita". Make sense?

Oh man...if I screwed that up King Milky will be so upset!
