Just something cute I thought I'd share with you all.

My mom's cat, Max, spent the whole day running away from his shadow!
He'd be walking along, the sun would come out, he'd see his shadow, pop up in the air, and start trying to run while still airborn.
Obviously, the shadow won.
At least until sundown!

That's funny! When the sun hits our kitty's metal tag on her collar she tries to chase it. Then she stares at it, and it doesn't move of course, then as soon as she looks away the reflection moves and she quickly looks back again and stares... and it doesn't move.... so she looks away again and it moves.

It's so funny to watch!

Actually...Max is 6 years old, 13 pounds (partial maine coon) and no brain. It took 5 of his 6 years to learn his name.
It took almost as long for him to learn how to walk and hiss at the same time. For years, he would take a step, arch his back, hiss, un-arch, and repeat.
He's just not the brightest crayon in the box! When he was a kitten and my sister rescued him and his sisters after someone dumped them on a trail, he would hassle his sisters, biting them really hard on the butt and such, till he ticked them off so much they'd whirl around and gang up on him! And he'd come tearing down the hall and hide behind my mom like, "MOM!! They're picking on me!" He's afraid of air (we haven't told him there's air in the house
)! We all say it's a good thing he has Mom because he wouldn't last long without her! But he's the biggest mush-ball on the planet! There's a pic of him on my signature. We call him the world's biggest kitten.

Max does that when he sees the light bounce off my keys or something. There'll be 8 or 9 points of light bouncing around and he tries to go after all of them! Aren't cats wonderful?!
