Look what I grew!

I got a bucket of bulbs for my birthday in April, and just recently planted them in my MIL yard, because she lives right behind us.
And look what we found a couple mornings ago!
I was so proud, as they were my first two flowers ever grown by me ever.
(pic is off of a camera phone)
My freesia. I call her "breezy"

And this is my Gladiola. (right? that's what it's called?) I call her "belle"

More should be popping out soon.
I LOOOVE gardening. I really wish I my very own yard to grow things in.
I am in love with freesia's.
So if anyone on here has some beautiful freesia's to show me, feel free to hi-jack my thread..

Oh I like it. I love watering them, and picking the weeds so the weeds dont eat my poor baby bulbs. It's like a motherly nature thing.
And then to see them bloom! It's like watching your little miracle right before your eyes.

I need your motherly nature touch on my marigolds! They look ok, but they are in pots and this weather has been awful mean to them.

Well I wish my thumbs were green from other than cheap rings.
That's a good one Leah..Great job.
Anyways-I dont even have a yard...One day I will though, and it will look as great as Susie's BackYard, and Gardenandcats yard put together.
I admire the both of thier yards.

The theory is appealing, I grant you.

But I know for sure now that if I ever murder anyone, they're digging their own darn grave.

Aaawww...
you all are such wonderful people.
I cant wait till the rest start budding. Anyone want me to come weed thier gardens? I'd looove it! I'll even water it too!
I just cant wait untill I have a yard. I have dreams of doing my garden while my daughter playes gleefully around. Big dreamer I am.
It'd be more like "Darn these DRATTED weeds! And HEY! Get your BUTT away from the ROAD!"
