Looks like I am back in this forum whether I want to be or not (still sad over Yen's kittens).

I took in another indanger queen named Misty. She just turned 1 years old this past July *don't know which day though* and is a very beautiful Lynx point siamese. I am waiting for the phone call to go pick up the Lynx point male (Casper) too (another rescue).

The old owners were going to dump them if someone didn't take them by the last day of the month because they are moving. They purposfully bred the two cats together knowing this and it infurates me!

Misty is between 4 days and a week preggo. The lady said she is almost 100% sure because they locked them together in a room when Misty went into heat and she saw them "getting it on"

Thanks Jesse,

it's hard to come back to the kitten section, but I have to put that aside and do the best I can for the queen and her soon to be kittens in my care, so I really appreciate the support!

That is so infuriating! I don't understand how people could willingly behave that irresponsibly, and with such disregard. The best of luck to you and mommy and lets hope those people don't decide to repeat this behavior!

Yes...people can definately be stupid....and thank goodness that you are willing to step in on behalf of these 2 cats. If you do get Casper...I would keep him seperate from the female until you have confirmed she is pergnant. No sense in creating a litter if one isn't there. Also, since Casper can still carry active sperm up to a month after his neuter...he should probably be kept away from her until she is spayed.

Have you considered spaying her anyways since she just had a litter 8 weeks ago?

I'm not sure...in my heart I am against that and I've already had to put down kittens from the last queen, so i don't know. That is my honest answer. I'd really have to think about it. She looks healthy and well fed...I just don't know.

I don't have the money right now to spay any cat (that is why I had a slight doubt about rescueing them) but I couldn't let her go into the streets.

I'm looking into some small town vets (cheaper than city) for the best price for a neuter for the male.

I've already made a plan of action for the kittens when they need to be rehomed. I am adopting them out for free providing the people who want to adopt meet the requirements I set and spay or neuter the kitten BEFORE they take them home.

I def. agree with Liza. If you are willing to home or can guarantee homes then let that decision be up to you. However, if can't guarantee homes then I would def. ponder that choice. It is just terrible that someone would make two such beautiful animals mate purposefly and then just leave them like garbage! OOOH PPL MAKE ME SICK DOING THAT
But then again you cant expect everyone to REALLy love their cats. I've always wanted a bengal and a siamese too.
Oh well I have to wait now I've got six with the new babies.

I can't guarentee new homes right away, but I can guarentee that I would take care of them until they do.

I don't plan to let them go until around 1 weeks. Hopefully I will find a vet who is willing to do an earlier spay/neuter.
