We had some nasty storms roll through Friday night (if only they had cooled things off
) , with this being our reward after

I looked through my old pics and found a few more:

A few from Ireland, the land of rainbows -

Does anyone else have rainbow pictures???

What beautiful rainbow pics
. I don't have any rainbow pics, but hubby showed me a fabulous one that he took many years ago. I'm waiting for it to be put onto a CD though as he was digitising his old slides. Once he's released the CD
I'll post it here for you.

What a beautiful thought!

(ETA: we mostly think of it as the land of rain. I shall try to be more positive in future!)

You should! When I visited your beautiful country, I spent 80% of the time getting drenched, and the other 20% admiring the rainbows!

Gorgeous pictures Karen!

Here are a couple...

I think I must have others, but those were already up on Photobucket.

I love rainbows -- great idea for a thread -- and lovely pics.

O-H-I-O!
I used to have one that was right over the building in front of us a few weeks ago. It was after some really nasty storms and the rainbow was a PERFECT and very bright semi-circle with another one(not as bright)right behind it......now I wish I would still have the pics on my camera

Oh how pretty! We had an absolutely gorgeous double rainbow here a few weeks ago. I was at Lowes when it came out so I didn't have my camera! It was absolutely dazzaling!

Here is a pic I took about 2 years ago while delivering an aircraft to Heber City, Utah...the pic was taken somwhere near Evanston Wyoming. I got way too close to this storm. Made for a nice picture though!! (excuse the bad quality, I had to take a picture of the picture with my digital)

While we did get rain every day, we also saw multiple rainbows every day

Tracy, that picture is really cool!
Hmmm - I didn't think to look for rainbows this afternoon. It poured on my way home, and I was too busy cleaning up the "flood" in three rooms (hubby didn't close the balcony doors before leaving for work).
