Question---do I leave them in the box with her until she is done, or take them out until she has delivered them all?
I woke up and there is 1 little tiny baby!

I would leave them in the box with her. After she is done...you can change out the bedding and then get the family settled again.

OK there's 2 now, both black and white like her. I made her a big nesting box and she chose to have them in a small box. Her butt was right up against the side, I didn't think she would have room to push them out but she ended up upside down, bottom in the air, to have the 2nd one!

The first one doesn't seem to want to nurse at all....how long can it go without eating?

Don't worry! The little one may not be quite ready to latch on to Momma yet...if he or she doesn't in the next 20 minutes or so, move her over to momma, and guide her to a teat.

Leave the babies in with her.

Is she done, or do you think she's going to have more?

The first born hasn't latched on yet. I put her to a nipple and she keeps 'looking' around, not drinking. The second one has eaten a bit but the third one is a little pig!
It seems like there are only 3---she is laying down and feeding, she doesn't seem to be in labor anymore....
I am concerned about the one who isn't eating. That one was born about 8:30 and it's now 11:30.
They all weigh just over 4 oz each

Wow big healthy babies! Mine took a while to figure out how to latch on. Just in case though we used an eye dropper to feed some formula to the first couple since it took a while for delivery of the rest.

Two of them are eating like there is no tomorrow, but the 3rd still won't latch on. She is climbing all over mom but not eating.

Also, I may have been a bit off on the weights, though not much. If they are not just over 4 oz, they are very close to 4 oz....i was weighing them quickly and they were moving around so much that they were knocking the container off of the scale!

try squeezing some of moms milk out into the nipple, then open the babies mouth and let her taste it, might help. i had to use a tiny bit of Nutri-Cal on the tounge to get my lil girl to get eating.

I took one of the nursing kittens off a nipple and put the other one there and she is still acting like she has no clue, still sort of sniffing all around.
I am going to try an eyedropper to get something in her....

Is the baby warm? They can't eat if they are chilled. Hopefully you have some kitten formula, make sure it is warm like a babies bottle, and drip a little into her mouth!

Congrats on the babies. Hope she starts eating soon!

OK this is not a good pic (my camera takes BAD indoor pics for some reason) but this is mom and the kits.
The one who wasn't eating DID nurse for a bit but not for long. I finally found an eyedropper and will try that.

Congrats!!! I'm seeing spots!!!

What precious markings they have!!!

Keep encouraging little babe to eat...when once kitten is done with a nip, place first-born at that nipple. Perhaps she's trying to suckle a nip that won't express. Also, a bit of Karo syrup on the roof of her mouth will encourage her to eat. Make sure she is warm warm warm!!!

You may want to warm her up with a rice sock (www.kitten-rescue.com), and then try to feed her via eyedropper. GL!

Well she has been eating a bit. I did take one of the kittens off of a nipple and put her at it but it was like she had no clue as to what to do. The darker one is the one who was born last and is a little piglet! AND he wants to be near 'mom' all the time, near her head/neck.
I have them in the big crate now so that mom can move if she needs/ wants to but she has been sleeping most of the times since she had them....
I will take some better pics tomorrow.
