Help..swelling in tummy post-desex op?

Little Sparkles had her desexing operation 10 days ago. On day 8 we noticed she had significant swelling in her tummy around where the stitches were.

When I took her in yesterday to have the stitches removed the vet said he thought it was fluid, and to monitor it. Today her swelling seems to have increased slightly. She is behaving well and eating.... has anyone else had similar experience with their baby girls??? Should I worry?

Mine got a little ball under her incision, the after-care sheet said specifically to expect it. If your vet has seen it and thinks everything's fine, everything's fine.

But I would call and say that it seems to have gotten a little bigger. She did just have her stitches out, maybe it's a swelling in reaction to that?
