Thoughts on Eagle Pack food?

I have been looking at Eagle Pack holistic food, it is reasonably new to where I live in Australia so am wondering whether anyone else uses it and what your experience was?

Also, any thoughts on how to get my Sparkles interested in anything else but tinned or dry food? She's fussy about raw meat or chicken necks (which I have heard is good for teeth). She seems to only like commercial food but I was to introduce a balance. Thanks!

For dry food, I'd only feed the duck and oatmeal variety.. the rest isn't all that great imo

Despite the fact that some people won't like the ingredient list, I know many people that use Eagle Pack with great results.

some people complain that its too grainy, but those that feed it just rave about the results.

I would have to put in the wet foods are good ..

I use Eagle Pack Holistic Select Duck & Oatmeal dry for my fosters sometimes. It's pretty cheap, but it's good quality. Nothing I'd feed my own cats on a regular basis, though. I ONLY suggest the Holistic Select and canned varieties. The adult/kitten/hairball/indoor formulas are of less quality, IMO. Hope this helps.

I've been using the Holistic Select Chicken and Rice and Salem loves it, she is doing very well on it and I've noticed improvement in her skin, coat and the consistency in the litter box since I switched her over to it. I would recommend it personally. It's also the best I can find where I live, so I don't know what other options you have available to you or if there is some better alternative you might get your hands on.

Hi! We use only Eagle Pack Holistic select chicken and rice dry, and the eagle pack holistic select canned food for our 8 regular kitties (and now the 5 kittens we're trying to find homes for). We used to use Nutro, and they have more energy with the eagle pack and don't eat as much.

I've been feeding Sash Eagle Pack Holistic Chicken and Rice dry formula for a few months now and he loves it! I think the ingredients look very good. He also enjoys some of the Eagle Pack canned.

Do you use Eagle Pack holistic even for the kittens? Ie. not the kitten variety? Is the kibble too big in size for kittens?

I quite like it.

I mean, I'd rather Tryon be a raw feeder, but it doesn't seem like that is going to happen in my lifetime But she loves Eagle Pack and has done really well on it so far.

We transitioned them to the adult food this week, after checking with our vet. The size is pretty similar to kitten chow - the cheap stuff my DH bought when the kitties were being weaned. Ewww - he knew better, lol. My concern was the fact the kibble was harder than the kitten food, but they are doing fine with it. And the wet food in the pink can says cat and kitten, but it's just a tablespoon or so once a day.
