Giving in to temptation

My new job does not permit me to wear jeans and, since Dillard's is having a HUGE sale today, I thought it would be a good idea to shop for some new dress pants.

Ths morning, I trekked to the mall and cruised Dillard's women's department. Drat! Even at sale prices, their pants were too expensive. As long as I was there, I figured that I'd check out the shoe department. There, my weakness took control of me:

The purple velvet ones are Gianni Bini and the snake ones are BCBGirls. Both were originally $90.00 each and I got them for $9.99 per pair. Naturally, one CANNOT pass up such a bargain!.

I DID find pants and a top at Ross and lo and behold - it is Shoe Week there! In addition to the clothes, I scored a pair of lavender Saucony sneakers, for only $20. Add the skirt from Target and I had a MOST productive morning

Cute! The reptilian strappy's are adorable, too. Love the purple strappy's.

I must say, you did very well! I love to shop, on the rare occassion I actually have money.

Cindy, when I saw the title, I was sure it would be about chocolate, but then I realized that chocolate is not a temptation for you. It's a necessity. The velvet purple looks hot.

Because of a heel spur, I am actually MORE comfortable in heels - they take the pressure off. Other than sneakers, flipflops and cowboy boots ALL of my shoes have 3-4" heels. I also have a sit-down job.

I bought flip flops on thursday, the flat ones, and now my legs are really sore because the rest of the week i was wearing the High heeled sandals!

I love high heels!

Gawwwwd Cindy how high are they!! I used to wear them that high when i was 18 but now i'd probably only make it through to the kitchen with them

I'm a high heel junkie I don't care how bad they make my feet hurt - if they are cute, or on sale, I'm getting them!

Those 2 pair you got are SO cute!!

I'm getting a black pair of heels from Victorias Secret... they have a 4 inch heel I can't wait!

I LOVE the purple ones, but am not a fan of heels, I wear them for work but generally I walk around in my big furry kitten slippers in the office and just put them on for meetings and the rest of the time it is jeans and sneakers for me!

Eeek-heels!!! I would be stumbling around like a drunken fool!!!!
Actually due to scar tissue on my right big toe is very difficult to find shoes that fit well.
The snakeskin ones look really cool though!!

My grandmother was 5' 1/4" tall, piled her waist-length hair up and wore the highest heels, that she could find (until she broke her hip). Mom is a shoe freak but, since her stroke, "sensible" shoes are mandatory. I am now carrying the torch. My granddaughters are too young for heels but, I make sure that they have pretty shoes.

I think its somewhere around 100 pairs. Some (mostly evening shoes) are rarely worn but, as soon as I get rid of them, I'll need them.

I'm just imagining the wind created when Cindy honed in on those purple shoes!

Wow, "Imelda" strikes again! Actually, you got some great bargains, Cindy, and the shoes are really pretty. I probably couldn't walk a block in them, though!

This brings me to two pairs of purple velvet shoes. I also have purple velvet ankle boots. (Just can't pass up purple velvet)

Like Susan said, I would only make it into the next room with them, but they are very stylish and nice. I envy you women that can wear them!
